COVID-19 Concerns

To Our Valued Clients

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is no doubt affecting your business and way of life, as it is our’s. That is our reality now and for the foreseeable future. As such, we want to take steps to prevent the transmission of the virus as we perform essential duties at your property. Ecologic’s staff is equipped with personal protection gear such as gloves and respirators. In addition, we have provided our staff with an antimicrobial agent that instantly kills bacterial spores, funguses, viruses, and molds on contact. This solution is for use in their service vehicles, bags, and equipment. Our team has been advised to refrain from shaking hands, and to wash their hands frequently.

Our team has been advised to not report to work if they feel ill, or if anyone in their household has been exposed to the virus or is suspected they may have the virus. We have instructed our service technicians to refrain from treating any homes with occupants who are sick. These apartments will be noted by our service technician in the service report, and should be rescheduled by your office when the tenant is well.

We ask Resident Service Coordinators (RSC’s) to call ahead to tenants at properties who have a visit scheduled with our service technician to verify that they are in good health. If any tenant indicates they are sick, or if they’re skittish about our technician entering the home, the visit should be rescheduled for a later time. Please do not insist we enter any home where a tenant is resistant.

We realize that the interruption of essential services such as pest control can have long term ramifications, so we are trying to find ways to deliver services while protecting both residents and our service team. This may become increasingly challenging in the days and weeks ahead. We are closely monitoring all directives from the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Governor Baker’s office. We will comply with all directives and work collaboratively with you to the very best of our ability. These are uncertain times but as always, I commit to you our full commitment during this difficult time.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions whatsoever.
Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Boyar,
Principal
